Phone Home Released

I see a new NethServer in Slovenia right now, twenty minutes ago the country was not conquered. I think you done the right things :smile:

And what about South Korea? :grimacing:

This is a little strange :grin: but I think that the reason could be an invalid coordinate address. Maybe the Google’s maps API not returns the correct coordinate. In fact, if you inspect the map near the Greece you can find a sinister Korea, Republic of.

If you try to inspect the result of the Google’s API request launched by Phone Home, that is:

you can find something like that:

         "geometry" : {
            "location" : {
               "lat" : 37.984654,
               "lng" : 23.760616
            "location_type" : "APPROXIMATE",
            "viewport" : {
               "northeast" : {
                  "lat" : 37.9860029802915,
                  "lng" : 23.7619649802915
               "southwest" : {
                  "lat" : 37.9833050197085,
                  "lng" : 23.7592670197085

But if you try to insert the coordinate in the Google maps, the point is in Peloponneso not in Korea :smiley:, the real coordinate is:

lat: 37.9833050197085
lng: 127.7619649802915

Google, this time you failed. :smirk:

Thank you for explaination :smiley:

You are welcome :slight_smile:

We released the new version of Phone Home :smiley: Now the map is in full page without white borders and we added the filters on the top.

You can view all the NethServer installations with statistics usage enabled. The numbers are different now and filtered on time range :sunglasses:

PS. Matteo is the guy that made the refactoring. Thanks :slight_smile:

Yeah! We’re missing servers without stats usage enabled, that’s a pity!

@Jim Look at this!

Let’s make a ranking!

  1. Italy
  2. U.S.A.
  3. Brazil
  4. Germany
  5. U.K.
  6. Russia
  7. Portugal
  8. France

Even it the user don’t enable the stats usage… One moment you have the stat ???

Old phone home showed just servers that were active last week.

With Brazil and Portugal, lot of portuguese people… Or caipirinha consumers :grinning:

Not really, but we can count all requests made to :wink:

We reached a huge milestone > 10 000 servers. Ok I own personally 9 999 servers
