Hi @mrmarkuz
I think my machine is too old for Rocky-9.2.
The BIOS display: 2012-08-20 version 1201.
The CPU is: AMD Phenom ™ II X4 965 Processor
Speed: 3400MHz
I thought that with such a speed, it was quite recent.

A BIOS update could help.

Hi @mrmarkuz
I have a new HP-Z400 Intel Xeon with CPU W3520.
I installed my old HDs and I have the same Kernel Panic with Rocky-9.2 under VirtualBox after creating a new virtual machine…
I can boot the PC with the DVD Rocky-9.2 and it wants to install without problem.
Now I suspect VirtualBox.
I will install the Ubuntu 22.04 full desktop.
How did you install VirtualBox-7 ?

Hi @mrmarkuz
I created a USB bootable (Ubuntu-22.04.02 LTS / ISO) from Rufus: rufus-4.0p.exe
from: Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way
With Rufus I choose DD mode.
I booted from the USB and I installed Ubuntu-22.04.02 LTS full desktop, updated & all.
Install VirtualBox-7 from: How to Install VirtualBox 7 on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
Created a VirualBox virtual machine for Rocky-9.2 and install with minimum ISO.
Total Victory, all is working.
