Can you check your internet connection? I have seen this behaviour when the connection was lost. Also your DNS client settings should be checked.
Just to be sure do also a

yum clean all

to clear yum cache.

Yes, thank you! i did the same(yum clean all) even though i am facing same issue.
My Internet BW is 100 Mbps and trying to update without load.
