@stephdl Wow, where do I begin. As one of the very first people in New Zealand to get Nethserver 7 running for business clients, I can say your help was invaluable over the years. I have used some of your latest coding master pieces in Nethserver 8 and really appreciate all you have done in that regard, especially the WordPress and Webserver applications for Nethserver 8.
As a professional developer I’ve constantly seen your improvement with coding, as we have all progressed in this space, and your detail to security, problem solving and bug fixing has assisted me beyound measure. When the great update happened from Nethserver 7 to 8, and chaos reigned, your help assisted in getting live servers back online (even with my frustration at several major bugs due to race conditions and errors with proxmox)
It is a shame @Andy_Wismer is no longer with us, as there were many threads where we bounced ideas around and you’d step in to assist us both, and I’m sure he would have given you his endorsement as well.
All the best with your application, and I hope it is successful.

@stephdlA really great one of all he offers in the way he is able to help the people.
I just want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for you. As a software developer, you have consistently gone above and beyond to help me, always with patience, clarity, and incredible skill.
What truly stands out is how quickly and effectively you’ve been able to explain even the most complex technical concepts. Your ability to break things down and make them understandable in such a short time is genuinely impressive.
I am deeply grateful for all the knowledge you’ve shared and the support you’ve given me along the way. Your help has made a real difference, and I truly appreciate everything you’ve done.
As with many others in this thread, it’s hard to know where to start. If memory serves, you were helping with, and developing for, e-smith even before its move away from Mitel. You, along with Charlie, Gordon, and others, offered invaluable help to me in developing some of my early contribs (e.g., Horde), you provided a great deal of help on the e-smith forums, the contribs.org forum, and of course now here for the last several years. You provided a great deal of help in my development of the LemonLDAP::NG module, and have been a bulwark of this community for as long as I’ve been here. You well deserve this recognition.
@stephdl guided me and gave me the required principles and actions needed to create, configure, and maintain a linux repository mirror as well as helping to clarify and configure a NethServer installation when help was required in a clear and patient manner.
You helped me solving a bug in Nethserver, where using capital letters in usernames hindered the ACL of shared mailboxes to function correctly.
This is a specific case I asked help for on the forum. Next to this you helped me indirectly so many times by your contributions on this forum. You are one of the people that builds the collective knowledge base on this forum, bringing balanced and thoughtfull expertise to all the users.
