Nethserver 8 and Contabo

Hi,

I think it’s time to try Nethserver 8 on a public server. I was thinking of using Contabo Cloud VPS 6 for testing. https://contabo.com/en/vps/

Does anyone have experience with Contabo VPSs?

Is it compatible with Nethserver 8?

Is Contabo Cloud VPS 6 enough to serve 6-8 users simultaneously?

Unfortunately, the storage space is limited, but they recommend Object Storage as an Add-on instead. Does anyone know about this? Can it be used safely with Nethserver 8? Maybe as a Samba share with https?

Contabo is great am currenlty using Nethserver 8 with Rocky Linux and its working very well on my end

Hello friends, I would like some reviews on contabo and their offer for a vps (6 cores and 12GB ram, SATA SSD), it seems to run well but I am not really satisfied by the network speed, about 6MB of download, 30MB of upload I feel the speed was better this sunday when I installed the server, what do you think, feel, about this provider it is a personal usage for family, looking to kill my NS7

How much storage do you need, and what for? I’d consider the “object storage” (i.e., S3-compatible storage) useful for backups, but not if you need online storage.

It would be needed as a Samba share, because the VPS storage space would be limited. But I don’t think it’s really recommended for this purpose. Maybe I should look at a bigger package…

That’s probably the best plan.
