TY. I saw that, plus a bunch of log stuff can probably move, but it will only give me a GB or so.
I guess I’m going to have to figure a way to decrease the home partition and grow root without jacking everything up. It’s google time!

You’re not running your NethServer virtualized?
If yes, it would make things easier! Putting in a larger disk - without any tools!
In any case: Nethserver can easily handle symlinked subfloders.
Just leave the Top level, eg /var/lib/nethserver/ibays/ where it is and symlink your subfloders (ibays)!
You could put in an additional disk (as temporary storage to facilitate updating and cleaning up), format that and copy your ibays or whatever over!
A rule of thumb:
If your logfolder is huge, you’ve having MASSIVE problems, usually hardware issues! Be glad it’s only a couple of GIG or only one!
