Hi @PCXLan.es
Not everyone needs to have the same level of know-how or experience as I have.
Some remain clueless…
Others remember the old adage:
I don’t need to know everything.
I just need to remember WHO to ask if I’m not in the know…
I never claim to be a know-it-all and I know I can rely on the help of our great team / forum here, including people like @mrmarkuz, @stephdl, @dnutan and many others, who like me, tirelessly try to help others here! (My Kudos to all here!).
Here, on this great forum, I learned to listen and act like a civilized supporter and give back to the open source community.
I would like to confirm 4 sucessful migrations “Assists” as they call it in football…
Some are so facinated by virtualization and how everything “just works” that they never posted anything here, but I can’t change people, nor do I want to…
I only try to ba a good example, and, if I can and have the time, I’ll also offer a free “hands on session” including a walkthrough and showcase of whats possible.
→ This sounds like someone never really tested disaster recovery! I NEVER trust backups I hve not tested at least once!
→ Thjis sounds like more of the above, not really understandimg Backups…
→ This could be a great argument for real virtualization. The options for rock solid backups / snapshots before a major upgrade is a major advantage for virtualization.
Platform Independant Disaster Recovery (Restore a Intel installed system on AMD hardware or visa-versa is good for resilient systems, and also gives any system admin the warm “fuzzies” when you know you can restore that system in 2 hours flat (or less!) - on any capable hardware.
I have, and still use Hetzner as hoster - they do provide excellent support for Proxmox or virtualization!
And no, I don’t just critize - I provide constructive critic!
I also offer a free “hands on” session to help you get up to speed.
This could use Anydesk (Remote Control Session) and
Telegram (Audio call for discussing / chat.
Just PM me!
You won’t be the first spanish speaking dude I’ve helped here!
mis dos pesos
