Can we be sure it is not a locale
/ character-set
thing?

For hosts and app paths the current “standard” is ASCII.
Therefore: maybe some passwords written into config.json
?

Finally, I’ve been able to reproduce the issue: https://github.com/NethServer/dev/issues/6407
Thanks to all!

Hi,
I re-ativate this topic because I have this issue currently
NS7 7.9.2009, nethserver-mattermost 1.7.0-1 => 1.7.1-1
Unfortunately the here given solution seems not to work by me…or I make it wrong.
The steps I’ve done:
- update via the GUI or with the CLI
- delete/rename
/opt/mattermost/config/config.json
cp /opt/mattermost/config/config.json.rpmnew /opt/mattermost/config/config.json
- run
signal-event nethserver-mattermost-update
without any error message
But the GUI shows that the service is down and by starting, inspite of the green message Mattermost stays off and “status” gives the error message of the first post.
Am I alone with this issue?
Is the issue known?
Are there current solution?
Thanks in advance.
Arnaud
