Will CentOS be impacted by this acquisition?

I think RHEL develop model and strategies will be impacted. IBM has itself as primary goal therefore the role of other RH big partners will be re-evaluated, until Armonk will obtain the products and business models prone to it’s goals.

Oths, RedHat will keep growing, maybe with fewer strategic branches and more OTT customers.
Anyway, I am not in condition to correctly evaluate the contribution that CentOS give to RHEL.
