I think sending mail doesn't work, how to debug this?

NethServer Version: latest
Module: mail

So, at some point that I cannot pinpoint, possibly after some update, seems I cannot send mail any more. I use WebTop.
I get no error feedback (not sure if NS mail server provides such feedback), but I am pretty sure sent mail are lost.
I use a smarthost (my ISP) for sending, which worked fine before.
My ISP doesn’t provide debug info, when connecting to their mail server.
So, I am left with whatever source of info NS can give me.

So my question is (because I am basically clueless for non-Exchange servers), where do I look for what? (I think NethGUI gives a list of logs - that Cockpit doesn’t… would that help me?)

IIRC the cockpit email app lists the maillog contents too.
