Hello,
Since september 2024 we use NS8 and we are looking for a way to synchronize the contacts in nextcloud.
We red many Howtos on Nextcloud website, but found no solution. The list of possible share users is empty:
Kontakte > Einstellungen > Adressbücher > Teilen > Mit Benutzer oder Gruppe >> no results
or in English:
contacts > configuration > addressbooks > share > with user or group >> no results
What we have to do, to share a special addressbook or adressgroup ??

do you want to share them with other nextcloud users or do you want to synchronize with other clients? Sorry you wrote both and I’m not sure what you mean.
Sorry for my bad english with missunderstandings…
We want to share a part of the contacts with other nextcloud users.
This addresses we export from a SQL database and convert it to vCard format. This vCard file we import in Nextcloud/Contacts as a new group
Till these is all OK. But sharing is difficult.
In SOGO it is no problem, but our “roadwarriors” need it in nextcloud
Are you logged in with the owner of the addressbook? At the moment I haven’t installed nextcloud, but I could do it next days and give it a try. Perhaps @mrmarkuz has nextcloud installed.

… yes, I did so. But I found the cause of my problem:
I tried to share as “admin”. But admin is only allowed to work in Intranet, and that’s why I only can found “admin” (myself) .
Login as another user09, and it was possible to share the contact group to others. User09 can send emails to outside.
I think, this was the reason (?) It’s a pity, I’m the admin and now it will be more complicated.
I can’t reproduce. In my tests the internal Nextcloud admin, the domain admin and a domain user added to admin group are able to share addressbooks and find the AD/LDAP users.
