To just disable SNAT for the red interface you could use a custom template: (adapted from here, untested)
mkdir -p /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/shorewall/snat
> /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/shorewall/snat/30red
Apply config:
signal-event firewall-adjust

Could you please share more details about the issue and what you want to achieve?
In general routing works when you can reach a host/device that is connected through another routed interface.

Have tests from the sites of your network, if you had any private service enabled using NAT, check if it can be seen outside your network or from the Internet.
