Firewall Not Found

Happy New Year to everyone!

I think I found a cockpit bug when updating to the latest version of the firewall.
If I click here, it tells me that it was not found.

But if I go from the Applications menu, and I go to Firewall, it takes me directly.

Except for the link detail; In the first image, when going to Firewall, it takes us to “https://my.nethserver.com:9090/nethserver#/applications/nethserver-firewall-base”.
And if you look at the second one, in the address bar, the link is “https://my.nethserver.com:9090/nethserver#/applications/nethserver-firewall-base-ui”.

I hope I have helped.
Health to everyone!

Same for You!

Same here after the update which fixed this:

Simply re-adding the shortcut menu solved it for me.

Solved it for me too. Thank you so much!

i had the same problem, i also tried to add the shortcut again but nothing, plus the settings did not open and everything worked badly, i did a yum downgrade

I try again to update

I say, I withdraw what has been said, I have updated the packages again and now I have managed to change the shortcut and everything works. Sorry again

Thank you for reporting!

After the update the existing shortcut to the Firewall application is not working.
As a workaround, just remove and add back the shortcut.

Am I understanding well the issue @PCXLan.es @mark_nl and @netbix?

If you confirm, I think it requires a fix and I will work on it.

Correct !

I my case I did not need to remove the (old) shortcut and was able to add it. Which replaced the non-functional shortcut

the problem for me is when I enter with the admin user, with root everything works.

with root user the problems do not exist
sorry for my bad english !!!

So the first problem is about the shortcut, thank you for the confirmation!

This is about delegation: after the update the firewall application is not accessible by delegated user.

and admin is delegated user ?

Yes it is.

The issue was caused by a fix for #6382.
To avoid further regressions, we reverted the patch: https://github.com/NethServer/dev/issues/6388

ok I understand, it’s just annoying to wait longer for the submenus to come out by entering as admin

That is! It’s ok for me
