My repo okay, I’ll try anyway. That happened to me once, and it was my network configuration.

did you set your name servers correctly?
mi resolv.conf hast set the dns of my isp provider.
If it is a clean installation, there should be no problems, all we have done so. After installation, we make the changes relevant to its operation. as I spend my time on:

I prefer to use local isp dns, you never know :D, i had an issue like this when i first installed on the office, and it was a proxy issue, name resolution and inet access worked fine, but yum didn’t like it. I fixed it setting proxy options on /etc/yum.conf so, getting to the internet its not warranty.
