I’ve been wondering if I missed the option to encrypt my drive during the installation process or if it wasn’t presented as an option. Are we offered the ability to encrypt the entire drive, or partitions, during the installation process? Thanks.
AFAIK with NethServer ISO the encryption option is not provided.
If encrypt the partition is a must for your setup, you can still instal CentOS 7 and “nethifi”-it with the procedure reported into documentation.

You need an extra parameter named fspassword
, take a look here: Installation — NethServer 7 Final
It should work, but I do not test it since years

Thank you. One of the machines I’m backing up has an encrypted drive and I have some customer files on it, it would probably be smart to encrypt the backups.
Thank you, I’ll try that out the next time I build another server.
