Clamd permanently disabled

(Ralph) #1

I’m going to use NS as internal mail server in combination with horde-webmail. All virus and spam scanning is done before by a mail gateway in the DMZ. So I don’t need these services on NS.
I found the switch to disable mail scanning by NS but amavisd and spamassassin are automatically installed together with the email module. I would like to disable both permanently so that they are not always restarted when the system boots or the configuration changes. Is that possible?

Thanks for hints!

not tested on stability matters

config setprop amavisd status disabled
signal-event runlevel-adjust

spamassassin is not running as a service

[root@ns7dev7 ~]# systemctl status spamassassin.service
