Cannot Delete Nextcloud Group

Anyone with some Nextcloud experience? The setup is a NethSec Vm on proxmox, with a Debian VM behind it that has NS8 installed and then Nextcloud within NS8. I am port forwarding 443 from the WAN to the Debian LAN IP in Nethsec, then within Nextcloud in NS8, I have a Letsencrypt certificate for the hostname assigned in the Nextcloud settings on Node1.

Logged into Nextcloud as admin, I was able to create Team Folders, Accounts and Groups. One of the Groups I cannot delete after creating. I had assigned it to the admin, but I can’t even remove it from the admin or delete it from the groups. Nor can I assign it to any accounts I’ve added. The weird thing is

I don’t suppose it has anything with the reverse proxy in Traefik1? I don’t have a clue.

LDAP groups need to be removed from the “Domains and users” page in the cluster-admin on NS8, see User domains — NS8 documentation

Something broke this morning when I chose to do an update under the Bugs and Fixes page of the NethSec UI. I chose ‘Check Fixes’ and let it do the update. Now I can’t click on half the selections in the left sidebar. They do nothing. Their is no selection anymore for domains and users. It’s almost like it reverted back to an older version. Clicking on Factory Reset, Backup and Restore, Controller, Storage, all do nothing. Rebooting doesn’t correct anything.

Domains and users is on NS8, not on NethSec…

That all absolutely worked! Thanks, Markus! I was able to use the UI again after clearing cache. I accessed domains and users in NS8 and deleted the group and then reviewed it in Nextcloud. I had a brain fart there. It was gone from Nextcloud at that point. Is it better to add accounts (users and groups) in NS8 and use them to login to Nextcloud, or to add them in Nextcloud? If I add them in NS8, will the groups show up in Nextcloud, where I can assign them to users and also Team Folders? We have a fair amount of customers that use our NS7 Nextcloud for file exchange with us. I want to transition to NS8 before long, so that the system is current and can stay updated. I plan on getting Nethserver subscriptions once I am confident it’s running smooth.

Yes, you need to use NS8 cluster-admin for managing users and groups.

Yes, you can assign the LDAP groups to team folders but assigning LDAP groups to LDAP users needs to be done in cluster-admin.
