Ai Agent: Agentzero

,

Did you realise you can install the app from the Software Centre?

could you try updating from the Update page of the App?

yes I did and now I’m up to date.
I hadn’t dared to do that, because it’s usually a no-go in other apps

New major version available

A newer major release line is available (v2.x). This self-updater keeps showing only updates from the current major version. Major upgrades require a new Docker image and data migration.

Hi WIll work on Updates and test today, THanks you

Hi @oneitonitram
I’ve been tinkering with this for ages and just can’t get the update to work. Could you provide a customized update with a new container?

My problem: I pulled the new original image and restored the backup. The new system does start up. But my problem is: Management is then only possible via podman and not via runagent.

I can’t get it to integrate with NS8.

Might you be available for a call? preferable within 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM in GMT+3
if you can setup guacamole or similar for SSH access, that would be great as well

Dm possible Available, from tuesday…

Thanks for your offer. But for me, setting up a dedicated server with the latest version of AgentZero was simply the quickest solution right now, so my needs are covered for the time being.

But in general, I think it’s unappealing for colleagues to be offered the option to install the old version of A0 and then have to struggle through the update process.

In that regard, I think it would be essential for software maintenance if you could provide an updated package.

As I said, not even for me.

Thanks for your effort.

the package was Updated, i am not sure why the Isntallation fails, to Update using the available Update process. Also, remeber between versions the original maintainers, commented about backup manually, then Uploading the backup, due to major breaking changes, but that alone shouldnt have prevented updates between versions.

Marko, I think your question was aimed at me, and I am delinquent in responding. I don’t understand your question about updating via the Software Centre. I do not have a controller. I have a single instance of Nethsecurity on a Proxmox hypervisor, which is the only VM on Proxmox. I only know how to update via the Updates menu in Nethsecurity’s admin interface. How do I access Software Centre?

NethServer is not NethSecurity.
You should install NethServer in a different VM.
