The @webtop_team did a lot of work to address all requests and improve the current WebTop version.
We need your help to test and refine WebTop before final release 5.1.5, but we already achieved few goals.
Documentation
While official WebTop documentation is on its way, NethServer manual has been improved and now includes all howtos written by @lucag, also many other parts have been ported and translated from the Enterprise knowledge base. Please take a look at: http://docs.nethserver.org/en/v7/webtop5.html
I just want to pointing out some relevant parts:
- Calendars and contacts import requested by @robb and @mrmarkuz: http://docs.nethserver.org/en/v7/webtop5.html#importing-contacts-and-calendars
- Blank login page reported by @rolf (Blank screen after admin login to webtop5), should be addressed following these steps: http://docs.nethserver.org/en/v7/webtop5.html#blank-page-after-login
If not, feel free to continue the discussion here or inside the linked topic
In the next few days, the team will work also on documenting:
- how to use admin access for configuring users
- how to share calendars, contacts and even whole mail accounts
- how to use mail archive
- importing from SOGo
- various tips and tricks
Development
Many bugs have been fixed, see upstream changelog, including the bug on admin password reported by @Christopher_Suttles and @pike on Webtop5, cannot change admin password
Also 2FA problem reported by @Max_Franco (Two factor security authentication error) should be fixed.
If some of the reported bugs are still present, feel free to bring on the discussion.
Also WebTop should now support upload limit file size in various scenarios.
I will let @gabriele_bulfon and @matteo.albinola explain how to use and configure such limits.
In the meanwhile, WebTop developers are also working to include improved Spanish translations. (Edit: Spanish and German translation should be ready inside the new RPM)
