So, what are you working on? - 19 Apr

Just got back from Singapore. Work is a four letter work. Although I’m a “manager”, I pretty much do a lot of non-manager stuff:

 1. Setting up an NginX RTMP server using a Raspberry Pi to use with Live U (streaming video)
 2. Just finished setting up NS 6.9RC1 using two WANs
 3. Playing with video production stuff using BlackMagick ATMs, Panasonic cams and stuff
 4. Facebook Live streaming tests with Mevo
 5. Other BOFH stuff

Looking after nethserver-awstats

Hi Des, looks a great plan :smiley: Did it work out?

@111110100 great list :smiley:
any chance to put NethServer on your Pi?

@stephdl love that, any POC?

Currently I am preparing to do this but first i have to backup PostgreSQL database because there is software which need this - I will move this to second server and then restore it.
2 - install two NS as firewall/gateway/ipsec server and setup connections between them from two different locations.

This will be done in next 2-3 weeks from now
3 - prepare backup server (NS + BackupPC - i need help from all of you how to do it right) to do backups from +/- 70 workstations/laptops
For that i have finally get a budget for that :wink: so in the next week I think I will get a new machine with maaannyy TB of space for that :slight_smile:

Not yet!

I’m working on the integration of awstats, but I have just the backend, and I’m still looking a way for the front.

I want to use the virtualhost to expand the template of awstats by an action, but in case of a specific need you can add your own template.

Good Morning Allessio,
Thanks for the email. I’m working
on a Backup Server to replace the my current SME Backup Server which is
limited to 2TB HDD’s and I was hoping that Nethserver could handle
larger. I haven’t seen any info in the community that actually defines
this (I like to look before I ask :slight_smile: ). Can you advise on this or
send me a link please?

I have Netherserver currently running successfully as a Samba File

Server with 2 x 1TB drives but I need to expand it up to at least 2 x
3TB to back up all my devices here on a regular basis.

Cheers…John

Of course, take a look at this -> Filesystem limits
