Good day, I have created a group, added a user and gave r/w permission to the group for a shared folder. I try to connect to the folder thru Windows 10 and it asks for user/pw. I enter the user/pw and it fails to log in. If I open guest access to r/w I can get to the folder. What have I done wrong in the setup that the password group/user can not log in?

it works for me.
Try using nameserver\username (bp-server\bgperrin) instead of only username
Otherwise tries to access to IP address
it works?
Either method returns username/passwd error…
