Nice to know it will be ready to go in the next release.

Super cool @giacomo works great, and with a win 10 desktop client.

nethserver-nextcloud has been left the testing phase.

I’ve been installed the new release nethserver-nextcloud-1.0.0-1.ns7.noarch, configured it with an external ldap (another NethServer machine) and it works great !

Thanks to @giacomo !

I just installed nextcloud on Nethserver 7 beta#, which port is the web interface on? The Nethserver documentation page does not give that information.

You should try with:
https://nethserver_hostname/nextcloud

That was the ticket, thank you.

The info is right here:
http://docs.nethserver.org/en/v7b/nextcloud.html#installation

Sorry, I thought it was clear enough :frowning: How can I improve it?

Nope, you were fine. I was page blind focused on the thought that it was hosting Nextcloud on a different port rather then a subdirectory.

Do you have tried to upgrade? Is it flawless enough?

Good question

In my experience, I’ve upgraded an installation on my virtual machine to 10.0.0 and the only side effect I’ve experimented was that some apps (mail, chat, calendar and contact) have been disabled.
I easily re-enabled the apps without losing any configurations.
I think this is only because it is a major update and because the app store is a beta.

@alefattorini, could be interesting to know what features/apps are most used/useful ?

Would you like to enable/disable them by default? Honestly, I don’t know.

The Best feature is its on NS 7.

But as @alep mentioned, the most common ones used are mail, chat, calender and contacts. There are extras, but It really depends on the user themself
