I’ve searched for the mail settings at the documentation but don’t find.
If I’m not blind I think we should write this to the docs, what do you think?
I feel something good of your proposal :D. I started a howto in the wiki on email stack, we might extend it of course
Good documentation is always a sign of a good project
Now I’ve found something at the docs:
http://docs.nethserver.org/en/latest/mail.html#client-configuration
@stephdl Can you post the link to the wiki howto please?
For released features I always prefer to improve the manual. The wiki should be for NFR development IMO!
Hi, like I said I’ve found the “Client Configuration” at the menue of the docs, but if I search for mail I can’t find it. Could we change this behaviour?
I don’t know if it’s easiliy possible. Searching for “mail” gives me the right Email doc on 7th position, searching for “email” works correctly with Mail doc on first position. I don’t know if we can prioritize the Email docs when searching for “mail”.
What about just adding some words like “client ports”, “client/mail settings” or “mail server ports” to the client configuration part in the docs to find it easier?
Oh yes you are right, I didn’t noticed, because the excerpt
virus and attachments blocker [4] Benefits are complete autonomy in electronic mail management
don’t let me suggest on client configuration, but if you write mail client it’s the first result. Perhaps it’s my own fault, I don’t use the right search term.
Of course, no problem
