Include (S)FTP as a Backup Option

Do you guys think that it would be possible to include (S)FTP as a Backup Source?

Do you mean as Backup Destination of our module? Looks like duplicity already supports it but I don’t know what that involves.What’s your goal? Making a remote backup? @giacomo

I’m using duplicity with an sftp destination. I posted my config here a long time ago:

You need a “remote” server where you can write files using ssh/sftp. My remote is a NethServer. The cloud backup tool/format is duplicity like the standard backup, so I used a full backup I had to “seed” the remote location. Yes, as a backup destination option. I have a simple shell script for duplicity and ftp which encrypts the backup before uploading it if anyone would like to have a look at it.
