Adding a ubuntu client to Nethserver as Primary Domain Controller

Hello!

I keep asking stuffs about Nethserver and the domain administration, this time Im trying to connect a Ubuntu desktop client as a member of the domain controlled by Nethserver.

Im using domainjoin-cli to join the machine but i keep getting this error:

20150731100916:ERROR:DNS_ERROR_BAD_PACKET [DNS_ERROR_BAD_PACKET]

A bad packet was received from a DNS server. Potentially the requested address does not exist.

Stack Trace:

I tried the same configuration againts a Zentyal server and works, is there any tutorial where i can found the solution to my problem?

thanks!

can’t answer your question but…

please be aware you are joining a NT style domain, not an AD one…
for some reference, you can read here:

http://wiki.contribs.org/Client_Authentication:Ubuntu

We have talked about this in the yesterday hangout
@Ctek can say something about
